The Illuminate Programme

The Illuminate Programme is an Initiative of the Innovation Office which seeks applications from researchers in the College of Arts, Social Sciences & Celtic Studies who are engaged in innovative work with the potential to facilitate change by solving a societal problem. Knowledge Exchange (KE) should be at the core of the project. KE is defined by the OECD as the process by which knowledge or inputs are shared to help solve problems.

The programme will fund projects up to a maximum of €5,000 as well as showcase the work of the successful applicants. The applicants should have some preliminary work to demonstrate the feasibility of the project.

The Illuminate Programme is managed by the Innovation Office within the Office of the Vice-President for Research and Innovation.
